(Funds and community awareness are the helpful byproducts.)
The premise is that by focusing on the cause of the charities and giving children control over what they donate and where it will be used, the children's personal connection with the cause of helping homeless and abused kids becomes stronger.
The event is Saturday April 18, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm at Penny Lane Kids and Prints Plus in the marketplace at the corner of 17th and State. (1778 W. State St. Boise)
Fun activities teach kids about the cause, what they can do to help, and where their money will go.
City Light changes lives by providing services to women & their children to help them move from homelessness to independence through counseling, job placement, recovery programs, transitional housing, and mental health services.
PATH Idaho provides treatment foster care with specially trained foster parents for kids and youth who have psychiatric conditions and severe emotional or behavioral problems, often from abuse.
