Juniors and seniors are enjoying The Prom season and all that it entails. The Idaho tradition of a day date may cover activities as diverse as paint ball to bowling, to a picnic at table rock. The girls spend weeks deciding what to wear, even before they get asked to prom. And the young men are often unsure if they want to go, because what if she says no?
When we finally get it all set up, Prom unfolds in a great way. Hair stylists, nail salons, and florists do a brisk business. And you will see oodles of couples getting their pictures taken at popular places like the train depot and the green belt in Eagle.
I got to participate in this time honored tradition for a few couples. It was a blast, except for the strong wind, the 50 degree weather, and the girls prom dresses. They were freezing, but it didn't prevent us from getting a few great shots.
The girls both looked stunning and the guys did too. Since it was so cold, the chivalrous guys shared their jackets with the grateful girls. And even though it was so cold, the beauty of the riverside, the trees, the setting sun made for some fun shots to commemorate this exciting event!
